Progress, well...a little!

After day one I didn't get as much done as I would have hoped but it is a start! I do love the way it is going to elevate the ceiling and give a light feeling to the space! Not your typical farm stand!
I will back at it today, experienced in the art of paint spraying! Well, kind of!

On another note, I have set up an ETSY shop for Hidden Path Farm and will have really great handmade farm items for sale. Felted soaps, printed linens: yes, I am actually making ink and dye from the black walnuts and poke berries! Tons of really great stuff!

First day of Spray!

Ok, so now the object is to paint all the ceiling boards and rafters white to make it clean and brighter and to give the space some height. A friend loaned me a paint sprayer because painting by hand was NOT going to happen!  So in my usual plow through anything way I thought....How hard can it be? Well it actually isn't that hard, once the paint thickness is figured out. The crazy part is the sprayer and the can weigh all of about 2lbs but it feels like 10 when you are up on the ladder!

Progress!

This is an old door that we have had forever and a perfect fit! The cool thing was the under paint colors that were uncovered. A bright Tiffany blue, two shades of green, lavender and red! We just sanded it enough to let some of the colors show. I added chicken wire and voila! Tomorrow......spray the inside of the whole shed white! Now that will need before and after pictures!

Getting started at the farm!

At this point the Hidden Path Farm Stand is little more than a packed shed but that is soon to change! With a little hard work and some really cool accents this will become something special. Stay tuned to see the transformation!
